Question for Platinum Cruisers

When you reach Platinum status and get the complimentary Le Bisto dinner with a bottle of wine perk and have traveled with a spouse in the same platinum status, do you each receive this perk allowing the two of you to go twice if you choose to dine together on those occasions or would it be one per stateroom?

Based on our personal experience this year on two different ships, the Dawn and the Gem, we got two complimentary dinners for two on both ships, one for each of us.

 

I have heard that the rule might be interpreted differently on different ships, but I can't verify it from personal experience.

Previously we have only received one letter per stateroom even though both DH and I are platinum.

 

However, a month ago on Epic I was chatting with the Cruise Consultant and she told me we would both be receiving an invitation for 2, each with a bottle of wine. I mentioned that had not been our experience before and was assured this was policy. We happily enjoyed both dinners - and wine - in Le Bistro!

 

One change they have made, however - the "extra charge" items like the lobster tail and cote de boeuf for 2 are not included with the letter. The bottom of the letter specifically stated that.

Yes they used to be included.
