Aft Cabin On Freedom Of The Sea

Going on our 1st cruise and have an aft cabin on Freedom Of The Seas - 7410. Described as a Deluxe Balcony - Grade E1. (For 2 adults 8 y/o)

I've seen some people say that aft cabins are very saught after and others say avoid them as you are better midship.

Has anyone stayed in this cabin, or have any opinions on it.

Any experience or opinions on aft cabins in Freedom Class in general, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The balconies aft are huge (the ones on the corners on deck 7 are the largest on the ship aside from the largest suites). The trade-offs are the longer walk (which has a positive trade off of its' own... very little noisy foot traffic back that way) and some view of the superstructure. We found we can easily see through the superstructure and see the ocean - or just consider it part of the view. It didn't bother us. On the other hand, having a couple lounge chairs on the deck gave us a place to nap in PEACE & quiet! :D
