I love that the writer called the Explorer a mid-sized ship.

 

Only in the world of RCI, it is still bigger then anything that Princess and Carnival sails.

 

Yes, I clipped this line to post here and laugh:

It's amusing how times change. When Sovereign first sailed, she was a national headline as the largest cruise ship ever built. Now, by comparision, people think she's an oversized lifeboat.

Statistic quoted to me while onboard the Oasis last month:

 

"The entire crew of the Nordic Prince/Song of Norway would fit into ONE of Oasis' lifeboats."
