How far in advance do you have to order Bon Voyage booze and Special Occasion cakes?

 

Also - if you order Happy Birthday decorations, can you specify the date on which you'd like them put up?

 

Is there a way to order any of this online? I can't find it...

If you go to the http://www.carnival.com page and log in, look to the upper right tab that says "Ships and Life Onboard" click on it and in the dropdown you will see "Onboard Gifts and Services"

You can order cakes, and other fun things like food and drink, gifts, etc, as well as cabin decorations. I have ordered a bunch of things for folks cruising with me next month. For cabin decorations, you can request that they be put up in the persons cabin on a certain day you specify.......

I went ahead and called my order in instead of ordering online since i wanted to make sure the day was correct and that I COULD request a certain day! They said yes! Just make sure you write your order and confirmation numbers down because I have received NOTHING as far as a confirmation of my order, but I was given confirmation numbers for each gift that I purchased. Will for sure take those numbers with me in case of a confusion!

I placed my order last month, but I THINK you have up until the week or two before cruising to place these orders. Here is their ordering disclaimer from the ordering page:

Carnival says......"DISCLAIMER: All orders are accepted up to and no later than one week prior to sailing date. Prices and deadlines are subject to change without notice. Deadlines are subject to change due to the ship's itinerary and holidays. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PREPAID. In the event an item is not available at the time of sailing, an item of equal value will be substituted. Gifts and Services may be subject to sales tax for deliveries in certain locations."

I ordered a gluten free birthday cake with one day notice while I was on the Liberty. Just went to the formalities desk and ordered it. By the way it was one of the best gluten free cakes I have ever tasted.
