Hi Felicia,

We've been to the Caribbean numerous times (I think this is #9). We probably aren't going to do much about booking excursions this time around. Having said that, we may do something in St. Maarten since this is only the 2nd time we've been there - we want to see more of the French side this time. Give us an idea about what you might like to do and maybe we can suggest something - we like to snorkel, eat and shop! We'll probably just walk around San Juan and maybe have dinner on shore at a restaurant we ate at last time - Pamela's at the Numero Uno guest house (gay owned) - we had a great meal there last time. In St. Thomas we may see about going to St. John in the morning, then shop in the afternoon in St. Thomas. Take a look at the HAL site at the "Booked Guests" menu item at the top of the page and you can enter your booking # and see what shore excursions are available for the different ports.

We booked a Cat. NN guarentee so don't know what our cabin will be until possibly the docs arrive or maybe not until we check-in. We've had great luck so far with upgrades when booking a guarentee. We were upgraded from inside to outside on NCL and the same on Cunard Caronia. Hopefully HAL will follow suit (our 3rd HAL sailing)

We live in Tampa and will drive down to Ft. Lauderdale on Tuesday afternoon. We'll be staying at the Marriott Marina across from the port (we should see the Rotterdam when we wake up!).

Our website is: http://www.blazelonis.com/index.htm - it's not complete but there are some pictures of some of our trips and reviews.

Keep in touch and lets plan to meet either before we board or for sure after we're on board!

Doug & Eric
