Beverage package on seapass card??

I read on these boards, that if preordered, the beverage package would be printed on the card. (If bought onboard, it would be a sticker).

I just called and ordered two packages and was told a sticker would be placed on the card.

I purchased this for my husband as a little surprise, so I am hoping it is preprinted on the card. Do you think the Celebrity representative may be misinformed?? Can anyone verify one way or the other??

Thanks!!

We had the premium package on Eclipse just a couple of weeks ago. Ordered it on the website and PALL was printed on our cards. Never had any problem using them onboard either. Staff were friendy and corteous at all times, even when they knew we had the package.

Just returned from a cruise aboard the Equinox. In our group, we had ordered both the classic (CALL) and premium (PALL) packages which were printed on our cards. The servers were outstanding on the cruise and, if a drink was ordered outside of the package (related to the classic package) they may recommendations of similar drinks that would be included. While the packages may not work for some, we thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of the packages and would get them again on future cruises.

Now I have an additional question. I have looked at both the Premium and the Classic Alcohol packages. For the most part, I am a beer guy but like the odd Pina Colada, daiquiri or Margarita. I am not a big wine guy (my DW may disagree and that would be wine with an "H") but may have one or two glasses at dinner.

Which Package is better suited for me? The Classic or the Premium? Experienced drinkers need only reply...;):D

I tried to get an answer in another thread but no responses so thanks for any thoughts in advance.

You sound similar to my husband, who is basically a beer and wine/whine kind of guy. Since it also includes sodas, waters etc., I think he'll get his use out of it and I went with the Classic package.

Doesn't it seem odd that a customer service employee in that specific department wouldn't know something as simple as whether the indicator is printed on the seapass card??

For both our Solstice cruises we purchased the Soda Packages ahead of time by calling Celebrity shortly after final payment. On the first one, there was a sticker on our Seapass Card, and the second time it was preprinted.

I prefer the latter since with all the pool use (like not drying off totally when going to get something to drink) or simply just touching the sticker from everyday use, the stickers became almost unreadable.

Hello "sayvan" (whiner);).

What you've told us about your drinking habits is not really enough info for anyone to be able to tell you which package would be better for you. However ...

There is a special ("sticky") thread that will help you to evaluate the situation, so that you will make the right decision. I recommend that you read the opening post on that thread, as well as a few follow-up posts (which contain updates to the long beverage list, with prices). Here are links to the posts:

Thanks... one other follow up question... if you take the Classic and then decide you want a drink higher priced then the package allows.. do you pay the full price or do they charge you the difference in the allocation.

For example, if you have up to $8 for a glass of wine but want, once or twice, one that is up-wards of the $12 dollar range would you only be charged $4 as you already were allowed the previous allocation?
