Galveston hotels??

Could anyone suggest a hotel in Galveston where we can park and leave our car for a week and they also provide a shuttle to the pier? We leave on the Elation on 3-13-05. Thanks for your help.

We are going to be staying at the Harbor House that is practically next door to the terminal. I have heard conflicting statements about this, but I have read that if you book a room with them through galveston.com, you can leave your car there for free. Otherwise, there may be a charge. Like I said, I don't know how accurate this is. It is possibe to walk from the hotel to the terminal! I have read a lot of great reviews about the Harbor House and cannot wait to stay there:)

I loved the Tremont House which is 2 blocks from the pier! Most of the hotels in Galveston provide parking for cruisers. There are 2 Holiday Inns and a LaQuinta and a Hilton too. I use Priceline and have always been happy. Have fun!

There are a couple of nice looking B&B's that you may want to check out that you can leave your car at also.:)

We have stayed at the Hotel Galvez several times and highly recommend it.

 

You can park your vehicle there for the entire time you are cruising. They will shuttle you and your luggage to the embarkation point.
