flipflops vs skiboots Posted September 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2010 Has anyone reserved a tour with JJ and been asked to put the deposit for the excursion in his brother Davids bank account in Costa Rica?
aprill121 Posted October 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2010 No, but that sounds a little fishy. Will you get the deposit back if the itinerary changes? I t is hurricane season. Your lucky tours is great, we went on an excursion with him just last week, great communication, was on time, took us anywhere we wanted to go, and was inexpensive, would highly recommend and he does not require a deposit. MaggieMe Posted January 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2011 Just booked with JJ for Feb for six of us. NO deposit requested
Dunmore2 Posted February 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2011 We booked with him for April. There are 6 of us and no deposit requested. He sent me an email a few weeks ago saying that someone from Costa Rica is reading the roll call threads and posing as him . I would email him directly to see what has happened. cruisin zonies Posted February 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2011 make sure you go through his email address. It's on his web site at: http://jjcostarica.bravehost.com/tour.html All the tour correspondence between us came from joiner72@hotmail.com. That is JJ's email address and that is what's listed on his site. He did not ask for a deposit for our group of 22.
