Himself Posted September 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2010 The Zaandam is making her last stop in Alaska for the season as she makes a brief stop in Ketcikan. This will be the last stop for any HAL ship in Alaska until 2010. Time sure went by fast. The Alaskan fleet is going south for the most part. The beautiful and elegant m.s. Rotterdam is at the port of Nawiliwi on the beautiful Isle of Kawai. I would love to be there or on the Volendam as she docks at Lahina--another great place to be tendering from. Dave thanks for a good report.

Himself Posted September 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2010 When I am in Alaska the Sun is up by 3 or 3:30 and stays up until 10 PM. I appreciate and agree with your insight. However in December and January in Juneau the sun comes up aroung 9AM and is down around 3PM
