help!will i have time???

hi everyone

i am arriving on cozumel on the mariner on 13th may , i have booked a dolphin swim for 11am (cozumel time) ship leaves port at 5pm (ship time) will i have time to to the dolphin swim and visit one of the beach resorts i.e paradise beach??

also i have reserved car hire for the day , is this a good idea???first time cruisers and never been to mexico!!

 

 

any help would be grateful

You will have time to do both as the closer beach clubs are just a 5-7 min. taxi ride from Chankanaab (dolphin swim) and then from there back to the cruise ship, about 10-15 minutes. I would forget about the car as you're just going to spend about $32USD in taxis for the day, and only travelling about 10 miles total. Have a great vacation!
