cantw82cruise Posted February 17, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2005 You will know if you get one before you get to the pier. It will show up on your docs when you get them a few weeks before you sail. Good luck....
slbkz Posted March 17, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I am sailing on the Fascination on 04/01/05 and had booked a 4A guarantee. We got our documents earlier this week and we have been upgraded to a 4D! Good luck!

tef43 Posted March 18, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 18, 2005 I dont know anyone thats has been stuck in a 1a, You will surely get upgraded. The OP booked a specific 1A cabin, based on the other thread that they started. Someone has to occupy them if the ship sails full. Those who book guarantees will get upgraded. bluehorizonlover123 Posted March 18, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 18, 2005 You may get a better inside cabin without bunk beds possibly or an obstructed view outside cabin.
workinmomof3 Posted March 18, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 18, 2005 I booked a specific oceanview cabin(1274, 6A category) on the Riviera deck, and had my PVP put in my record that customer requests upgrade if possible. I kept checking my record and 17 days before sail date, I got upgraded 6 decks to a balcony stateroom (8B!!). Good things like that do happen!! Excited7 Posted March 18, 2005 #8 Share Posted March 18, 2005 How did you check your record? I went through a TA and cannot just call Carnival for info. I have to go through him, but I feel bad asking him all my random questions.
workinmomof3 Posted March 19, 2005 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2005 You should have your booking number, it's on your docs if they haven't given it to you. Go to carnival.com and create an account, then click on my reservation and fill in the info. You should be able to see your cruise info. Then, click on modify booking and your cabin info should be there. Good luck!
Excited7 Posted March 19, 2005 #10 Share Posted March 19, 2005 I can get ever where but the Modify Booking part....I set up an account awhile back. Oh well I guess my room wil just be a big suprise :p
slbkz Posted March 19, 2005 #11 Share Posted March 19, 2005 You can't get to book modify if you didn't book directly with Carnival. The room number will show up on the back of your Sign and Sail Card when you get your documents.
my3kids Posted March 20, 2005 #12 Share Posted March 20, 2005 Help - We got our cruise docs yesterday - where is the info on the s & s card? i looked on the back - but what am I looking for some sort of "code"? Thanks
lvmybskt Posted March 20, 2005 #13 Share Posted March 20, 2005 Your cabin number will be on the cover of your docs. You should not receive the sign and sail card till the day you board unless they have changed things. You can also tell what deck you will be on by the color and name on the luggage tags that should have come with the docs.

tricktsm Posted March 20, 2005 #15 Share Posted March 20, 2005 I can see my cabin number through the book/modify and we did not book directley through Carnival. I registerd on Carnivals website. They have my history and my current reservation.
