Azamara Duty Free Liquor

Hello. I will be visiting a friend in Barcelona after departing the Quest later this month and I would like to give him a good bottle of bourbon. Does anyone know whether the Duty Free store on the Quest carries bourbon and, if so, which brands may be offered?

Duty free?? They had a complete line of liquors when we sailed a year ago. However, it cost me $55 to get a $35 bottle of scotch.

Well, I am on the Quest right now and they are not even offering any alcohol to buy in the store. We are actually all required to pay a 20% VAT on all purchases (even spa services) since the ship never leaves the EU. 8-(

 

This is apparently a very rare situation, which will affect our cruise and the I think the next cruise as well.

Hi CKforensic we are on the next cruise to yours and were wondering if Captain Carl was still on board and if he would be on for our cruise as well. We have read such great things about him. Disappointing to have to pay 20% VAT on everything!
