Ginger for sea sickness?

I have read ginger is good for sickness. Where do i buy it? Also is it in tablet or candy etc?

I always pick up some in tablet form at walmart, in the vitamin section.

There is also ginger based gravol that you can get.

Ginger can be bought at trader Joe's, also in fresh candy & pill form.

At Wal-mart, in the vitamin section. It is called Ginger Root. About $5 for a 100ct bottle. While there, also see the pharmacist for Meclizine 25mg. It is behind the counter and runs $10 for 100ct bottle. This is the same ingrediant in Bonine but much cheaper.

I like the Gravol product, as it is chewable and tastes good. Even my grandchildren will eat it before car trips. They usually lose their cookies at the first turn in the road unless I give them the Gravol. I get it online, but I have heard you can get it in some health food stores.

You can purchase Ginger Root pills at your local vitemin store (GNC) and it is fantastic! :) I started using it about 3 cruises ago and I take one the day before I leave and everyday of our cruise & 1 day after and have felt fine.
