air flight time please help

We are due to arrive back into Port Canaveral at 7am. We are renting a car to go from the port back to Orlando airport. If we do self disembarkment would we have a good chance to make a 10:30 am flight?

10;30 am from MCO after a cruise in Pt Canaveral? Too risky in my books.

 

Remember, just because the ship is supposed to dock at 7:00 am, it may not get cleared by customs for passengers to debark until 7:30 or even later.

 

It is at least 45 min drive - you need to pick up car, drive, drop off car (refill gas?), take luggage etc and check in then go through security which can be huge lines at MCO.

 

I have had problems making an 10:55 am flight in FLL after a cruise and the distance between that port and the airport is only 10 min drive....

 

No way would I plan on 10:30 am for MCO out of Pt Canaveral....

IF the ship is in at 7:00, you may not get off that early - it all depends upon customs and immigration. After you are off you'll need some time to pick up your car and then the drive to MCO takes 45+ minutes. For a 10:30 flight you'll need to be at MCO by 9:00 to be safe - do you want to spend you last day stressed, in a rush and worried that you will miss your flight?:confused: Better to book a flight closer to noon IMHO.;)
