Hi, we did the Pinel Island Snorkel Tour last week while in St. Maarten, and although I enjoyed it and the snorkelling was my 1st time, dh thought the snorkelling he did off the beach in St. Thomas the day before was much clearer/ and more colorful. We did see some various species of fish in the tour - again, being my 1st time, it was exciting!

 

The beach itself is very nice, wish I coulda spent more time enjoying it!

The Golden Eagle is a great catamaran excursion. The ride and scenery are awesome! You will stop at a nice secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling. The snorkeling exceeded my expectations. I went with my teenage kids, and we all enjoyed it very much!
