We loved Isla Margarita. We enjoyed the less commercialize islands more overall (Grenada, St Kitts and Isla Margarita) when were on our cruise last summer. We did the dolphin encounter at IM, but next time, we decided we would just chill at the little beach and enjoy the local ambiance and vendors. Enjoy your cruise.Judy

Wondering how you liked IM. We also are going 11/7/05 on the Golden. Traveling with my sons (11-14) We are only there until 1:00pm. Any feedback on any other islands would be wonderful also.

My wife and I did the dolphin excursion aboard the Sun Princess in September. If you are only going to be there until 1:00pm, then I would say just walk around the little shops by the pier and then enjoy the little beach there as other posters have suggested. There is plenty to enjoy right where the ship docks especially if you are only going to be there in the morning.
