European Shore Excursions

We are considering back to back cruises on the Golden Princess this summer 2005. Both RT Southampton. The ports are Zeebrugge, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Dublin, Greenock and Bergen. We'll be travelling with our 2 children, 3 and 9. Which cruise excursions would you recommend and which ones to stay away from? We will be flying in to Heathrow, are there any other transportation to Southampton other than the transfer from Princess? Princess to quoting $608 RT for the 4 of us, anything cheaper out there?

Since will be go straight from the airport to the dock, arriving at Heathrow around 11am, and the ship leaving at 5pm, should we just stick with the Princess transfer due to the time constraint?

Ask for Malcolm and read the website carefully. They are VERY reasonable and have fabulous service. We used them last June for our British Isles/Norwegian Fjords cruise. Can't say enough good things about them!
