Millennium specialty dining night

Personally I don't think it matters which night you choose. If you don't want to pack formal clothes for the MDR, then book on a formal night. Specialties are smart casual every night.

If you have a busy day and want to eat later than MDR timing, choose that day. Guess we'd have to know why you ask? What you need/want?

As far as food, the specialty restaurants offer an upgraded and more special dining experience every night.

Here is a link to the daily programs from our 11 night Millennium cruise last March if that will you, the itinerary is on the first page so you can check it against yours: http://lfsimon.home.comcast.net/~lfsimon/Millennium-Celebrity-Today-3-15-201-Caribbean.pdf

If you make a reservation and change your mind you can always change once on board if the new time slot is open.

I see eandj's comment about the dress code there. There are conflicting statements on Celebrity's web site as to whether the dress code in the specialty restaurants are the same as the dining room (formal on formal nights) or always smart casual. Our experience has been that most dress up more for the specialty restaurants than the main dining room - especially on formal nights. Sort of like going to one of the better restaurants around town at home - one tends to dress up, not down, when going to a fancier place.

Personally we tend to pick nights when we won't be eating a big lunch (we sometimes like to find nice seafood places on the beach at some Caribbean islands) and when we don't have to get up early the next morning.

Yes policy changed this year. It's smart casual every night. (Takes care of slower bookings on formal nights. ) Now those who don't want to dress to the nines will be welcomed on formal nights in the specialties.
