Questions about Jack's Shack

We will be coming to Grand Turk in January 2011 and are renting a golf cart. We'd like to stop by Jack's Shack but I have a couple of questions. I understand you can snorkle from there. Is there a place to rent equipment or do we have to bring our own? How much to rent (if it's available?)

 

And second (most important) my husband has a prosthetic leg that he has to take off to snorkle. We'd have to find a safe, dry place to store it while we play in the water. Is there such a place? A locker? A safe corner somewhere? anything? Thanks tons!

We loved the place, even though it was a stormy day last Feb. so we didn't get to snorkel. Try the Jerk Chicken. Here's their website with their email, so ask em direct. A number on these boards saw it and called it a "dump", so they went back to Margaritaville to get ripped off. They sure missed out on some great people and a good time. Here's to the dumps of the world as they sure make for some good cruise memories.:)
