I had chated with a cruise director cant not say his name here but these past few moths it been alot off switching around with the cruise director,there been few cruise director that had left RCCL to NCL Matt SOLE is one of them i will miss him he on the Epic,the best to do this list is people writing there reviews and put down who was there cruise director.

Richard Spacey was not the CD this past cruise on Explorer. It was Jimmy. Jimmy left today on vacation so I dont know the new CD (might be Richard but he sure wasnt the CD this past cruise from 2/27 to 3/9).

Cruise Directors change ships somewhat frequently. Don't post a name if you don't know it's current. I'm pretty sure Richard Spacey has changed ships at least twice since he was on the Explorer. Freedom then Oasis. (CORRECTION) Ok, so I was wrong!! Wow. Thanks for the info!! I'm sorry!!!! Explorer is now a very lucky ship. :)

I can assume then, Richard was transitioning in as Jimmy was leaving (today). I just read back some pages on this thread and was surprised to see people thought Jimmy wasnt that good. I thought he was ok...nothing great but nothing bad. I certainly never found him obnoxious.

I found him to be one of my best cruise directors for the sample reason is he very friendly always see him around the,on seas day he walk around talking to guess and always asking if we need anything or there something he could,i been on 28 cruises with royal and i had cruise directors that the only time i will them is at the shows and the quest,but never around the ship.Jimmy Rhodes is going to the voyager but he didnt say what date tho

We just completed the Sydney-Singapore Rhapsody cruise on March 1. Casey Pelter was our CD and will continue in the position after refit is completed on March 29. We really enjoyed his humor!

We just got off the FOS last week and Graham Seymor was the CD. Not my cup of tea.....His "humor" was on a 3rd grade level. Annoying IMHO and dreaded seeing the shows to hear his line "ladies and germs":eek:. Hopefully he will be "on vacation" by the time you sail.
