navybaby1113 Posted October 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2010 Very cool! Carnival doesn't allow you to take pictures or videos, so you have to go to see what it's like. Thank you for sharing!
pberk Posted October 24, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2010 Link to a video of our chef's table on the Island Princess - September 18, 2010 (Alaska): Very nice job on the video. This year, we were on the Island the week before you were. Didn't do the Chef's table as we had done it on the Emerald the year before. Here's my video of that experience on the Emerald. Similar to yours on the Island. What a night!!!

pberk Posted October 26, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2010 do you have picture of menu so i can drool some more? will be on sapphire in a month and will do this....what a treat! what was the grey goose vodka used for?...did not hear clearly!? and your dessert was composed of? anyway a very memorble dining experience! Our Chef's table had no menu that I remember. The Grey Goose went into the sorbet between courses. Sorbet is often used to "cleanse the palate" between courses. Cunard use to do it (years ago) in every restaurant onboard. First time I've seen Grey Goose go into the sorbet. What was amazing was that the Chef left us the bottle of Grey Goose --- and boy -- that stuff is GOOOOOOOD .. I'm sure there was a regular dessert but we had wine and a cheese course for dessert ... The whole thing is fantastic. Well worth the dollars. Just PACE yourself. It's just too much for mere mortals.
Summer5683 Posted October 31, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Ours had a menu, which I will attempt to attach here :) The Grey Goose was used in our sorbet, but you basically end up with a full glass of vodka...it was fantastic!
