Oh gosh, that's awful what happened on your last day! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Hopefully Carnival with adequately compensate you. Otherwise I'm glad you managed to enjoy the rest of your trip. Swimming with the stingrays was a lot of fun for me too last year and I also visited Paradise Beach 3 weeks ago. Good thing you made it to Cozumel before the storm hit. Keep us posted on the final outcome please.

I wanted to provide an update regarding the flooding in our room. I emailed the guest solutions dept. I wrote a short letter giving the details of the flooding. I received a response within a week stating that they were sorry and that I should submit the drycleaning bill for reimbursement. I emailed them back and told them that the white clothes were ruined because they were all gray now and provided them a list of what was lost. There wasn't many items. I told her that I had pictures of the items and also told her that I didn't know what their policy was but that I would be ok with onboard credit for my next cruise in January. It took about another 7 days but I received another email and they indeed gave me a $100 onboard credit for my dream cruise in January. I was pleased with the gesture and thought Carnival guest solutions handled my issue in a timely manner and offered fair compensation.
