ROLL CALL: Celebrity Summit Dec 11, 2010

We thought it would be nice to strike up some conversations pre-cruise with fellow GLBT travelers. This will be the 6th cruise for Tom and me and are looking forward to a great seven days in the Southern Caribbean. We've been to the other islands but not these so it will be a treat.

 

We plan on arriving in San Juan on the 9th and explore SJ and OSJ until boarding on the 11th.

 

Other threads regarding this cruise have been very active. Sounds like there will be a lot of fun people.

 

Hopefully there will already be a posting on board about an initial Friends of Dorothy gathering. If not we should get one posted the first day.

Hi! Glad to hear that you will be on board but sorry your buddy can't join you.

 

We haven't heard from any FODs so I don't know what activities are going on in that regard.

 

Are you looking at the ROLL CALL section for the Celebrity "Connections" Roll Call? Go there and open up the Summit Roll Call. There seems to be a lot of activity there but not necessarily FOD.

 

Tom and I will be arriving in San Juan Dec 9th around 5pm and staying at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in New San Juan. Nothing firmly planned for that evening. Maybe will do a city tour on Friday and look around on our own. Saturday we hope to board between 1 and 2 to get acquainted with the ship. Our stateroom is 6148.

 

What are your plans?

David and I will be onboard. We joined the Connections party on the Summit Roll Call and it appears they have almost 50 people attending that party. They are also organizing a casino slot pull, group excursion and a day of embarkation party at the martini bar @ 4pm.

 

If you would like to setup a GLBT meet on the day of embarkation, let us know and we can set a time and location.
