Is this a good upgrade?

We were upgraded to a 'mini suite' on the 11th deck. But I notice we may have the pool deck and kids pool on top of us. Will this be intrusive? Stateroom 11544.

 

First time cruising and I want a great experience!

We once had a cabin with the lido/pool deck above and we did hear them moving chairs and things, early and late...It didnt bother me too much, but it was noticable. (wasn't an NCL ship, but dont think that matters).

A mini suite is a nice upgrade....what was the alternative?

Nice upgrade from Balcony. A larger room, but no extra perks.

 

A great upgrade if from an OV or Inside.

 

Marginal to little noise in most cases.

I had a mini suite on the Dawn in August and did have the pool above us and did not hear a thing. No chairs moving and no noise.

We have sailed on the Pearl and the Star in mini-suites both under the buffet (11124 on Pearl & 11176 on Star) and have heard no obnoxious noises. Once in a great while you might hear a slight noise but nothing out of the ordinary. ;)
