Seyne-sur-Mer/Toulon/Provence - Reports of disruptions?

we docked in Seyne-sur-Mer last Saturday 23rd on Voyager. told to take care with public transport but we only wanted to go for a walk and have a look around so it didn't bother us. saw local buses on the roads and the ferry across the harbour was in operation.

the day before we had docked at Villefranche and tendered into port. we were told that bus services were more likely to be working compared to trains but decided to go to train station first as it was closer and we could see trains coming and going. told the next train was due in 10mins and bought tickets - then they produced a list of what services were on during strike and quelle surprise - no train for nearly 2 hours. walked through town to bus stop and caught bus to monaco for 1 euro - used train tickets for return journey so not completely wasted.

As of two hours ago 79 boats are blocked at Marseilles, including 58 tankers. There is a strike call today for the whole country. Only a small percentage of trains are cancelled however. Marseilles has had no rubbish/ garbage collection for some time and things are getting smelly!
