Sapphire Princess - Dec. 18th

I'll be traveling solo on the 4 day, pre-Christmas cruise on the Sapphire Princess out of LA from Dec. 18th through the 22nd. Will there be any other "family" on board? I'd love to grab a drink with folks from this board who might happen to be on board as well. Thanks, David

My friend and I will be joining you as 2 single "family" members.

Also saw your thread about the spa. I can't compare it to RCCL but I was onboard the Diamond Princess a few years ago a sister ship of the Sapphire and the Gym/Spa area is very nice. Gym/Spa share a locker room with a dry and steam sauna. These are inside the lockerroom and clothing optional.

You can also purchase a pass for the Thermal Suite which is co-ed with heated lounge chairs, 1 dry sauna, and 2 steam saunas. This Thermal spa area is also available before/after your treatments. The loungers and addtional spas I think are worth it. On a 7 night cruise it was $100-140 per cabin with access for the whole week. On the 1st day take the spa tour and they will walk you around.

Gym area had enough machines/weights and I never had to wait long if ever to use what I wanted.
