Sports bar in Papeete

We were wondering if there is a sports bar in Papeete close to the airport that we could go to before our return flight to the US. Thanks.

Gordo, I am going to guess this is your first trip to Tahiti, correct?

 

To answer your question, no, I have never seen a sports bar close to the airport in Tahiti. In fact, I have never seen a sports bar in Tahiti anywhere (although there might be one, but all of the sports would be geared towards the French, and in French) if there happened to be one somewhere.

 

There is a type of bar in the airport waiting area though. They will take USD, XPF (and I think Euros too). You stand in line, order, and then find a seat at one of the tables (limited seating) or on one of the sofas/chairs in the waiting area.......no waitresses. ;)
