Visa requirements for Egypt and Dubai??

We are Canadians on an Azamara cruise with a 1-day stop in Alexandria and ending in Dubai where we stay on the ship overnight and leave the next day. Does anyone know for sure if we require Tourist Visas for both or either country?? So far my research seems to indicate that as Canadians, we do not require a Visa for Dubai, and that a Visa can be obtained at the Alexandria port for about $15-$20pp.

Only your country and the destinations country's government can answer that. Don't take the word of others.

Agree with above post. However from experience, as Canadian Citizens don't worry. You will not need to arrange any visas prior to the visit, these will be provided automatically on arrival.

Having gone to Alexandria with Azamara, and being Canadian, I can tell you that you will not need to get a visa. The ship will look after this for you. I researched this thoroughly before going and this is the practise of all the main cruise lines.

No I organized a private excursion with Ramses for 15 of us. We had an excellent day going to Cairo to the Pyramids, lunch and the Museum.
