jlynshep Posted October 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2010 If I am fully ready when we board the ship other than putting on my dress and my Bridal party is fully dresses and ready will there be time for group pictures with the Bridal party only before the wedding? They told me that my wedding should be between 1-130. The reason I am asking is because we are doing the 1.5 hour reception with the open bar and I’m worried that my bridal party will be drunk or not looking as fresh as they would before the reception. I am just worried about getting group pictures before the wedding; I know that my FI and I will be fine to take our pics together after the reception. Any thoughts or Ideas would be great! freka621 Posted October 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2010 Most likely there will not be enough time. The girls have to meet down at the ceremony location for a quick walk through. Your photographer will come to your room right before you get married. You can request it...just have a back up plan. After the ceremony ask the photographer if you and the girls can do a couple shots. I had a list of poses I "had" to have. I gave it to the photographer and told him my wishes. He referred to the list often. One thing you can do is have the girls all go to the room with you, have someone else go with you and take some before pix of you getting ready and a couple shots with the girls. That way if the photographer can't make it to your room in time...you at least got some cute shots. I too had the 1.5 reception. It goes by so fast...we did a couple shots in there but every thing was so rushed there wasn't much time for posed pictures. Have fun & Good Luck! Jodie M. hunniebee724 Posted October 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2010 We did bridal party shots in between the ceremony & reception. It only took a few minutes.
