anyone rent a car

while in St. Thomas? If so what was the cost? Thinking because I have no idea were to go we could just drive about. Has anyone else done this?

Renting a car is common. Both Avis and Budget have an office right accross from the cruise ship port in Havensight. So check out their web sites, put in your dates and see what rate you get.

I have rented in the past and not a problem. I've used Hertz before and will be using Budget this time. It's about $60-65 a day. They will pick you up at pier. be sure to advise which one you will be docking at when you reserve. They have cars at Havensite. Don't forget they drive on the left (English style) but not difficult.
