Rental car agency in San Pedro

We are arriving a day early and staying a day after our cruise. We are currently booked at the Doubletree for our arrival and I thought about renting a car either that day or on our return so we can do some sight seeing. We are flying into and out of Long Beach so I am open to suggestions for both areas.

There is an Enterprise location near the Crown Plaza in San Pedro. Little bit of a hike from the Doubletree, but I know Enterprise will pick you up and drop you off so that might work for you.

I inquired about an enterprise rental car. be forewarned that they close on new years eve at noon and do not reopen until monday am. they will charge you for the weekend even if you drop off at their center while they are closed.:(

We are set with a rental car from Enterprise for our arrival date of the 28th. Can go sightseeing and then on the 29th I can drop DH at the port with all of our stuff and return the car. Thanks everyone for the information!:D
