How much would you pay?

During Jazz Fest 2011 pre-cruise,

 

We can stay at the HI Express on Carondelet Street by using points for four nights and pay $0.

 

We can stay at the Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter on Gravier for three nights with points, paying $240 for the last night.

 

Or, we can pay $500 for the Crown Plaza on Canal with a combination of points and $.

 

As far as location and quality goes, which one would you opt for? We won't be staying at the hotel for too much but would like easy access to the Jazz Fest shuttle and an easy trip to the port on cruise day and walking to great restaurants. Thanks for your opinions.

We have stayed at the HI Express over the years for Saints games. The hotel is in a good location, decent free breakfast and clean rooms.
