Couple of questions about tipping and OBC

I have a couple of questions regarding tips. I was on the Solstice 2 years ago and I remember that the tips were added to our on board account. I am assuming this is still done. My question is, what about the butler? Are tips for the butler added automatically to the account or am I on my own to tip the butler?

 

I have also read here that some of the obc accounts are limited? How do I find this out? Has anyone had their obc account limited and not been able to use it for tips?

If you have your tips added to your onboard account, the butler will also be tipped. Your auto tips are more per day than a standard cabin. I paid for my tips for our last cruise as part of the booking practice, just made it easier for us.
