Carnival Shoreside Rep Goes The Extra Knot

I'm not sure if Carnival or any of the other lines will want this put out there as a "general expectation" ...but what some folks at the Miami pier did for my in-laws today was so outstanding it must be recognized.

After 10 years of watching my wife and I cruise once or twice I year, my sister-in-law "got the bug" and booked a 4-day Fascination Cruise for her family that left today. She chose to do her own air and did connecting-same -day flights. Needless to say, the weather and poor service from USAir landed her in Miami today (on an Aitran flight) at 3:15pm - just 45 minutes before the ship's scheduled departure.

As they were in flight, we called Carnival and got connected to the pier and advised them of the situation. They arranged to have a "meet & greet and move your A$$" at the gate for them and got them on what I am sure will be their first of many cruises.

Shame on me for not remembering who I talked to in Miami. She definitely deserves individual recognition. Thanks
