goodml Posted November 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2010 Got a great deal on Iberville Suites for pre-cruise next month. I know some of you have mentioned staying there previously (Sargeant Schultz maybe?) Tell me what you like about it. Any great restaurants close by? Sargent_Schultz Posted November 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2010 We love Iberville Suites and you can often get steals on the rooms. In the same building as the Ritz Carlton and you get some exchange privileges. http://www.zydecocruiser.com/CarnivalTriumph/nola/nolaSept4.htm {some pictures starting about #17} Closing the door between the bedroom and the living room shuts off all potential noise from the halls. If there Thurs, Fri, or Sat very easy to get to Jeremy Davenport's club in the Ritz. http://jeremydavenport.com/ Galatoire's (and Bourbon Street) is a block away! http://www.zydecocruiser.com/nola/food/foodPages/galatoires.htm Arnaud's and Antoine's aren't far. Deanie's is practically across the street http://www.zydecocruiser.com/nola/food/foodPages/deanies.htm Acme Oyster is near. I'll be there for 1 night in a few weeks and getting hungry thinking about it. I'll try to get some fresh pictures. You might want to check out the Roosevelt while you are there - about a block away across Canal Street - they usually have an amazing Christmas display (used to be better when they had ther angel hair) but also to have a cocktail at the Sazerac bar - guess which cocktail was invented there (actually more than one I believe). http://www.therooseveltneworleans.com/diningAndEntertainment/bar.php Tons of history associated with that hotel. klmorg Posted December 28, 2010 #9 Share Posted December 28, 2010 lastminutetravel dot com has a pretty good deal for Iberville Suites right now. It's listed as a 4 star, very easy to see what this "mystery" hotel is.
