ikajus Posted February 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2005 Where do you buy the wrist bands that help seasickness?
ineedacruise Posted February 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2005 Most drug stores will carry them. Go to the pharmacy and ask, they will point you in the right direction. You can also get them at boating supply stores.
ckrobyn Posted February 24, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2005 I live in Canada and they were readily available at the local drugstore as well as Walmart. They cost about $10-12 for a set of 2.
winterblues Posted February 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2005 I live in Canada too and apparently we can get patches that fit behind your ear that Americans can't get. Friends were cruising recently in the Caribbean and mentioned them to me.
cjh Posted February 25, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2005 American's can get the patches from their doctors. However, there can be some real bad side effects from the patch.
AnotherVirginCruiser Posted February 25, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2005 Where do you buy the wrist bands that help seasickness? I wore some for 5 months of my pregnancy and I got several pairs at the grocery store (Albertsons). They work great for me! Put them on a couple days ahead of time. They put pressure on your tendons in your wrist so it can be slightly uncomfortable for a while, until you get used to them. :)
TheWog Posted February 25, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2005 Target has them as well as most drugstores (CVS, Walgreens, ets.). Right next to the Bonine and are about $8.
