Chiapet, your review would be a great PowerPoint presentation. Very well done!!!

Wow ... you're absolutely right!

I didn't even see it myself ... but it would totally convert well into a PowerPoint presentation.

I guess it's just like *me* ... and my lists, outlines, etc.... ;)

Staying over in Cozumel gave me my BEST night's sleep ;)

ALL the other days were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

Up until then ... the days were warm & sunny ... and not overly hot/humid ... while the nights were nice & cool ... and there wasn't even a ripple in the seas at all :)

Then ... Thurs. AM when we arrived in Cozumel ... we could tell that the tides had changed ... and there were huge waves crashing along the pier as we walked off the ship to the terminal. It was still warm & sunny during the day ... but the seas were so rough that they canceled the snorkeling portion of our tour completely :(

Oh ... we did get caught in a short mid-day downpour in Costa Maya while at Chacchoben Ruins ... which initially cooled us off ... but then totally soaked us and caused 2" of mud to be caked onto all our shoes

How was the weather when you were on in Sept?

Considering we were traveling during peak hurricane season, the weather was fantastic! High 80's, low 90's everyday. Only rained one day for a few minutes.

Hope the weather will be good for my Christmas cruise. This will be the first time I've cruised in December. If the weather is predicted to be bad, I'm buying a spa pass for the week. :)

I've never visited the spa on NCL. Not sure if the Epic spa is much different than their other ships? Did you get a chance to visit the Epic spa?

It definitely was great weather ... wish we were still there now ;)

I didn't purchase a spa pass ... but my BIL did ... on 2 different days ... and he absolutely LOVED it! The 2nd day was the last sea day ... when the ship finally left Cozumel after being delayed overnight due to the high winds.

He said it was absolutely beautiful there and you wouldn't have even known the seas were rough and windy. It sounds like a great plan for you if the weather is bad that week :p

I'm not sure how it compares to the spas on the other ship ... but it's suppose to be the *largest* spa at sea :)

Another IT Geek here :D so I was digging the format. We're considering this ship for our 10 year anni / my 40th birthday. (may as well do them at the same time!)

I highly recommend EPIC ... for you to celebrate both!

And since you're in IT ... you probably have a little OCD ... (ok, so I have a lot ;)) ... but you'll LOVE the planning part too ... since there's so much to do onboard!

Great review chiapet. You covered alot of excellent points.

My wife and I were on the same cruise from Oct. 30 to Nov 13, 2010. We diffently enjoyed the cruise.

One we noticed as smokers - in the casino area - primarily the common walk through

the smoke was sometimes offensive.

Thanks!

I know there's been quite a few complaints about the *smoking problem* near the casino-atrium ... but we were really lucky and didn't notice it much at all.

However ... we were trying to avoid *them* as much as possible too ;)
