Santuary -massage question

I was on the Crown in 2007. A friend and I booked the "Ladies' Night" Special. I think it was a mini facial, massage and exfoliation(something like that) for $100.(It was too good to pass up!) Anyway, my friend and I totally expected this to take place in the spa, and since we are not a couple-in seperate rooms. How surprised were we when we were led outside, up the steps, into the Sancutary, and into one of the cabanas!! Thank God we are VERY close friends(college roommates then best friends) so it was not awkward for us. We really enjoyed it and the view was amazing since we were just leaving port and it was sunset.

We had a couples massage on Emerald last year and were taken to the tented area in the Sanctuary, just be carefull if you are at sea, because the wind noise is very off putting. This year on Crown we asked to stay indoors and it was much more relaxing. I'm sure it would be fine on a port day.

i have done a massage twice up there, it is very relaxing with the sound of the wind and water but you can request to not have it up there if you wish.

After the massage I was offerred to stay and enjoy the sanctuary for an hour if I wish, which i didn't because after a massage you feel like jello and you have oil in your hair and look well "odd"
