With no cell phone signal, how do you find your significant other?

I always take my Binatone walkie talkies and have never had a problem in using them on board or ashore. The only problem was recharging the batteries on the slightly lower US voltage.

It's kind of like asking, "How do I cook my lunch if the microwave is broken?" or "How do I change the channel on my TV if I can't find the remote?...

Or the favorite one my old boyfriend the auto mechanic used to tell (and he swore it was true): the woman who was upset because the battery in the remote control which unlocked the doors was dead and she couldn't get into her car. You know, the remote that's ATTACHED TO THE KEY TO THE CAR!

Or the time I heard my grade-school aged son telling his classmate that his mom had taught him how to play that Solitaire computer game using a deck of cards on the kitchen table!

I've used walkie-talkies in the past when our kids were younger. It was a great way to keep in touch with them onboard and did not cost cell phones fees.

We also use post-it notes... wait, let me clarify - I use post-its & DH reads them :D

If we are not together, she can usually be found in the on board shops and I can be found in the buffet!;)

My husband and I always have walkie-talkies. We travel with another couple and we don't always want to do the same thing. They usually find us on shore really fast, if we're shopping.:)
