Megan's Bay, St. Thomas or Sapphire Beach

We are going on the Emerald Princess on February 16th and will be in St.Thomas on the 19th. We want to just swim, relax and eat good food. We are still booked for the "deserted Buck Island and Turtle Cove trip." We also get to visit Honey Moon Beach with this trip.

Have any of you been? Reviews?

We booked with Princess but are now looking at MEAGAN'S BAY v. SAPPHIRE BEACH. Which is nicer? How big are the crowds? How far are both by taxi? What about food/restaurants? There is currently only our ship and the Adventure of the Seas (WICO) at the port on that day.

Finally, how is the weather there mid-February?

The weather should be beautiful. When we were there a few Februarys ago it was sunny and in the 80's every day.

As for the beach options, you really should take some time to check out the multitude of posts on this board, asking the exact same thing. You will get more info that way...

We went to Magen's Bay a few weeks ago. It was very nice and beautiful. We went by taxi on our own and arrived well before the rest of the cruise passengers. You can rent chairs, etc. They also have a reasonably priced bar and food counter. We got a large pizza that tasted good and was huge for about $19. We chose Magens because it is one of the top 10 beaches in the world-a well deserved title.
