Stick with Freedom, or move up to new ships?

Recommended Posts

I sailed on the Freedom of the Seas in September, and absolutely loved this ship! My previous cruises with Royal had all been on the Sovereign class ships. I asked the Boards if I should go with Freedom, or jump up to the Oasis. The consensus was to sail Freedom first, then eventually move on to bigger and better things.

My question is this: like I stated, we just loved the Freedom, and are leaning towards another sailing on this ship. Should we go with our instincts, or move up to either the Oasis or the Allure? I read about the new bells and whistles on the 2 big ships, and it all seems very exciting. Would I miss out by sailing on the Freedom again?

My first thought says I will enjoy Freedom of the Seas even more the second time around...but what do you guys suggest? You were spot on with your answers the last time I was trying to decide...what do you suggest I do this time?

We love the FOS and last cruise we decided to go for a GS and now I am hooked. The room is bigger and the bathroom is incredible (which for someone with claustrophobia is a big plus), the perks are nice too. We booked the Oasis for next Nov and don't see how we can spend that much money on a GS. So we talked it over and all 3 of us decided that the GS was worth more than the larger ship (for now) So we are back on the FOS next Oct in a GS and we will have to wait on OOS for another year. Whatever you decide, I know you will have a great time.

My wife and I have sailed on several RCCL ships. I can tell you that once you sail on the Oasis or the Allure it tough to compare. All the other ships are very nice but the 2 big ships just have so much to offer.
