Hand-carried luggage on cruisetour

Has anyone that had joined pre or post Australia cruisetour encountered hand-carried luggage restriction problem?

 

I just read the guide book and it states that "wheeled carry on cases that are used as carry-on luggage on airlines are too large and are not suitable as hand-carried luggage on motorcoaches throughout Australia."

 

We will be taking a 5 day pre-cruise landtour and we can't carry a wheeled carry on luggage? This just doesn't make sense to me. :mad:

 

Any feedback?

You can take it, you just can't take it on the bus with you, it must go below. You should chekc with the tour operator to make sure that this wouldn't put you over their pieces of luggage limit.

Thanks. I assume it means not on the bus as it may not have overhead bin. The wordings are very misleading.

 

We will only have one piece of luggage each, should not cause any problem.
