ariawoman Posted December 5, 2010 #127 Share Posted December 5, 2010 Oh Rochelle, Thank you...thank you. What fun it will be. Blessings, Gail I was on the NA in october and there is indeed no smoking in the piano bar. I guess I should let you know that it's not *that* far from the casino where there is smoking allowed, but I never experienced any issues in the piano bar coming from the casino, and I'm sensitive to it. mudscraper Posted December 5, 2010 #128 Share Posted December 5, 2010 From watching CSI I have learned that if you put vaseline up your nose that it blocks offensive odors. It might be worth a shot. Vicks Vaporub works much better.
Bill B Posted December 5, 2010 #129 Share Posted December 5, 2010 I prefer 'Crazy Glueing' my nostrils shut... and it's easily removed with acetone after disembarking.
m steve Posted December 5, 2010 #130 Share Posted December 5, 2010 Smoke Gets in Your Eyes was written by Jerome Kern and Otto Harbach for the show Roberta. The Platters just recorded it as well as almost every singer of standards.

I know most readers of these postings would like wade through the 'detritus' and keep focused on the issue. ;) Bon Voyage & Good Health! Host Walt Posted December 6, 2010 #133 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Well, this thread, as with most smoking threads, devolved into yet another flame war (go figure; a "flame war" about smoking ) and off topic discussions about smoking. For those who wish to continue discussing the pros and cons of smoking, I recommend this forum: SMOKING LOBBY. Thanks.
