Cabin question VC 315 Eurodam

I've read several posts about a solid balcony on some veranda's. Have never cruised HAL before and am hoping this balcony is not solid. We are also traveling with 4-2 adults and 2 children. There were no balcony quads availble. The TA thought we would be fine in this cabin. Has anyone been in a VC balcony that has input? This is not the solid balcony is this? I can upgrade to a suite, but it would be another 799. Any advice? Thanks

You should be ok in the VC. Only VH and some VF's have the solid balcony. I have never been in a VC but have been in VD's (our favorite), in VA and V's. Have a great cruise!:):)

There is no VC 315 or 5315 on the Eurodam, but only veranda cabins 4001 to 4042 have the metal railings.

We were in VC5180 for 2weeks last fall (Canada / New England) and it was wonderful. At first I was a little unsure of having a shower only, but I actually really liked it.

It can't be that either. All VCs are on deck 5, therefore the first digit must be 5. 5013 maybe? But that's a triple, not a quad. Are you trying to put 4 people into a triple? I suppose you could put both kids into the sofa bed if HAL would allow it. (There might be some capacity regulations that would prevent that.)

The quad rooms are the same size as the triples and doubles ... it's just a question of sleeping arrangements as far as if there is "enough room".
