Discover Scuba - Reef Recommendations

Hello

 

Going to do a 2 tank boat discover dive while in Cozumel. Saw a couple of highly rated dive shops that are quite close to the port. I assume their dives stay close to the reefs near Channakab. We also plan to visit Mr Sanchos in the afternoon where I have found there are also dive shops that do a discovery dive that would be closer to the Palancar reefs which people really like.

 

Does anyone have advice as to which reefs would be better to see in a shallow dive "discovery" experience?

 

We are frequent snorkelers so I would like to see the best reefs possible.
