temps in may??first time cruiser..

hi

can anyone tell me the average temps in cozumel in may?

we are sailing on the mariner on may 8th and this is our first cruise , i have been to most places around the world and the hottest i have ever experiencd eas egypt..

im from ireland so amd used to bad weather,and some one toldme that may is th start of hurrican season in caribbean , i hope not!!!!

 

any input would be great full.

I know that Hurricane Season is from June-November, but rarely do you see a Hurricane in June, more likely late July-October. The air temperature is usually in the 80's and the water temp is about in the high 70's.

May will be beautiful. We've been in April and June and June is the start of rainy season. Even then, it was nice. May won't be as hot and sticky as June. Should be PERFECT!
