Where is the Amsterdam?

The port schedule is not up to date, and is often inaccurate. I believe that originally there were two 6 day sailings from San Diego, but they were combined into one 12 day sailing. When she returns she will unload, sail up to San Francisco for a 5 day drydock, and then return to Long Beach for the unofficial start of the World Cruise. That actually begins when the ship leaves Ft. Lauderdale in January for 110 days roundtrip.

The Amsterdam left San Diego on Dec. 02 and is doing a Sea of Cortez cruise.

Will be in Puerto Vallarta Dec. 10 and stay overnight there.

Any idea what work will be done during the 5-day dry dock?

They plan to replace the carpet and all the chairs in the MDR. The chairs are really ready to be replaced, on our recent Grand Voyage we found many of them to be coming apart. Also the bathrooms will get the dispensers for shampoo, etc. to replace the little bottles. Same products.

She is a great ship.
