Excursion help

Recommended Posts

We will be sailing with carnival at the end of feb. When we are in roatan we really wanted to do the dolphin encounter and tabyana beach excursion. When I went to book this was not available. I did sign up for the dolphin encounter at anthonys key. It only lasts until noon. We would really like to spend the rest of the day at the beach. Can we stay at anthonys key resort and spend our time on the beach? I know that we will be responsible for our transportation back to ship. Or can we take a cab to tabyana beach? I have seen some things posted about being asked to leave the beach if you haven't paid for that excursion. Can we pay separate for this excursion and spend the afternoon there? Is there a bus that runs from this beach back to the ship? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We are first time cruisers and we are clueless.

Thanks

Jill

Jill,

Contact them directly.

and visit their web site for details.

There isn't a direct bus there from Mahoganey Bay where Carnival docks, but I'm sure the resot can give you assistance in getting a cab back to the ship. AKR is an all inclusive resort and has a variety of things you can do as well as access to the beach, and dining and drinks. Not sure what's open to a cruise tour, but they'll be glad to answer your questions.

Here's their website too
