Funship dollars for OBC-How do I do this??

I have done this for my last cruises and works awesome. Just checked my balance today!!

In the first line where it states message "standard" or "custom" use the custom option and put "APPLY AS ON BOARD CREDIT"

Put your name, phone number and in the address line put your BOOKING NUMBER. In the address line 2 line I always put cabin # but I dont think you need to. Then fill out the rest for the information it asks.

Tried this a week ago and they never got the order, even though it gave me an order number after I completed the transaction. They couldn't find it on their system at all, even with the order number. Very weird. I recommend calling to have FSD applied as OBC. Could have been bad if I hadn't called them to check on it. :(

I do this each cruise-- already started the purchasing for Valor in 2012.

Us too! We loved having our OBC on account when we cruised! Everyone should be sure to keep your confirmation emails, as guest services did ask me if I had my receipts (emails)!

I keep the confirmation number until I receive the certificate- Once I receive the certificate I throw away that number.

I hope you are not doing this for a year with a little here and there-- that is way too much paperwork to keep track of.

(people complain that this is not a good idea since they might forget to take the certificates with them--- when I get a certificate i put them with my passports.

So do you actually have the FunShip Dollars mailed to you? That may make more sense than having it applied as OBC. I try to do $100 or $200 certificates.... our goal is to have $1,000.00 by the time we cruise!

I get paid every two weeks- I buy one funship dollar for 25.00 and have them mail it to me- I get it within 7 days-

so every week I have something to do with my cruise---

one week I am buying and the next week I get it- Its MY fun count down calender- to date I have 200.00 towards my Valor in 2012.

Once applied on to my onboard account we can also use some of this in the casino

I am trying to purchase funship dollars right now and I put in my VISA debit/check card and it keeps telling me its an invalid card number. Do they just not accept it because its a debit card and not an actual credit card?

I have no credit cards...YIKES...My card is not expired either...

what happens to these pre pays if you have to cancel your cruise. We always take the insurance but it would not cover these pre pays would it?

if you cancel your cruise and NEVER cruise again--you lose it.

You can also use these for a deposit for your next cruise.

are you getting a certificate in the mail or is it OBC???

I prepay tips with my final payment. You can prepay tils up until a few days before your cruise.

I prepay it so I do not see it on the sign and sail card.

I prepay as much as possible, all our excursions are already paid for for our February cruise
