Adventure Girl Posted June 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2004 lrcruising: I LOVE YOUR PICTURES! THEY ARE FANTASTIC! I'm going on the Mariner in November with 7 of my girlfriends. We are staying at Ron Jon two nights before the cruise and doing the Western itinerary. Your photos have really put me in cruise mode now. I am counting down the days...can't wait to do the shot thing at Margaritaville....and the slide too. Thanks for sharing your photos. triplemom3 Posted June 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Great Pictures!! Did you see many kids at Margaritaville? I've heard that the kids (younger than age 10) can use their slides as well, without the shots! Did you see any kids that young there? Looks like you had a great time! Thanks and I'm off to read your review. lrcruising Posted June 21, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Yes there were kids there. We got there when it first opened and had to make use of the slide early since we had a shore excursion to make. There were a lot of kids at the beach at Margaritaville (right there at the restaurant) and eating at the place. Kids, as well as adults, are welcome. TXSailor Posted June 21, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Ircruising: I was on the Rhapsody of the Seas during the same week you were on Mariner. I snapped several pics of the Mariner while we were tendered in Grand Cayman. We were also docked right next to you in Cozumel. Mariner is an impressive looking ship, much taller than the Rhapsody. Funny thing, no one told us we were going to dock right next to Mariner in Cozumel. That morning, I woke up and walked over to the drapes (in my birthday suit) to let some light in, pulled open the drapes and there they were, passengers sitting on their balconies on Mariner, looking right at me. I was so embarrassed... These ships dock vey close to each other. I will try to post some pics at webshots.
